About The Team Experience
David has been a full-time, professional REALTOR® since 1976. He has actively marketed and closed over 3200 transactions. David is currently a partner of Prudential Kahler Realtors, Inc., a Rapid City real estate firm dealing in residential real estate sales, commercial real estate sales, property management and appraisals.
Honors
David holds two of the real estate industry's most prestigious professional designations. He is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI). These designations are held by fewer than 4% of all REALTORS® across the nation and are David's assurance to you that his service is sound and knowledgeable .
Personal Information
A native of Rapid City, David is the father of two. Real estate was his first and only career choice and he has been extremely successful in it. Over the past three years he has closed an average of 100 transactions per year. More than 83 percent of all the listings that David has taken have been closed and his clients are ecstatic. Whether a buyer utilizing David's Buyer-Broker services or a seller seeking a quick and profitable sale, the people working with David Kahler are unanimous....David knows what he's doing and, most importantly, he gets the job done!
Memberships
David is a member of the Black Hills Board of REALTORS®, the South Dakota Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. These associations all uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate. To insure quality service to his clients who are relocating and to provide maximum exposure to his clients who are selling homes, David is also a member of the Employee Relocation Council. He also serves as a Board Memeber for the Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity.
Professional Philosophy
David believes that customer service is paramount. "The purchase and sale of real estate, if done right, can be an enjoyable experience," he says. David is dedicated to making his client's real estate dreams and desires come true.
 Experience Jeremy joined his father, David Kahler, as a third generation REALTOR® in 2005. He has assisted in closing over 550 transactions and in 2010 Jeremy closed 28 transactions. His goal is to help his clients make an informed and educated decision. Honors & Memberships Jeremy holds designations as a Short Sale and Forclosure Resource(SFR) by the Nation Association of REALTORS® and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE). He is a member of the Black Hills Board of REALTORS®, the South Dakota Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. He also serves on the Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity Site Selection Committee. Personal Information Born and raised in  Julie was born and raised in North Dakota and relocated to the Rapid City/Black Hills area in 1993, and is married and a mother of two. Julie is the Client Care Coordinator for David & Jeremy Kahler and obtained her Real Estate License in 1997. Julie finds great joy in assisting with the details when listing and selling a home, and will walk you through from start to finish. "I most enjoy walking each client through the home-buying and/or selling process. From lining up showings to coordinating the inspections and scheduling bids; my goal is to provide superior customer service throughout the entire process. I love the excitement of handing keys over to the new homeowner or the proceeds check of a sale to the seller! Buying and selling your home is a big deal, no request is too big or too small... my job is to HELP!"
Team assets include 16 years of experience as a licensed assistant; outstanding customer service; maintaining communication with our clients; brings a can-do attitude to every aspect of the team's inner working; unsurpassed knowledge in negotiating the "small stuff"; is enthusiastic, pleasant and always ready to help; has a true passion and appreciation for real estate.
Irene is the newest member of the Kahler Team. As marketing Coordinator, she is responsible for maintaining the Kahler websites, providing extensive data entry including updating listings, generating weekly Buyer/Seller traffic reports, monthly marketing reports, etc, and mainly assistant to Jeremy.
"My husband, Howie and I are transplants from Utah, but more recently Europe, where we were lucky enough to have an Air force assignment for almost 7 years. As an active member of their Officers' and Civilians' Spouses' clubs, I had volunteered to produce the club's monthly newsletters. That lead to alot of time on the computer and a learn-as-you-go use of Microsoft Publisher, which in turn is what helped me acquire a spot on the Kahler Team. I couldn't ask for a greater and more positive group of people with whom to work!"
Irene and Howie have two dogs and love travelling and all things outdoors, including hiking, skiing, biking and exploring the wonderful Black Hills.
